Choosing from Pop Lists

Pop lists are indicated with an downward-pointing arrow next to the field () and provide a choice from a list of defined choices. For example:

The contents of these pop lists are drawn from System Codes, and can be configured for the customer's specific SEMS implementation.

Current Fields
The current field is highlighted in green.

Choosing from Lists of Values
Field/column names in italics indicate that there is a list of values (LOV) available for that field. For example, in the image below, Sold To, Date, and Purchase Agent all have associated LOVs.

In such fields, either enter a valid value (one that is in the LOV) or double-click to display a LOV from which to choose. The results vary depending on the field in question. For example, the Date field presents a calendar, the Sold To field presents a list of customers:

To select a value from the LOV, highlight it and click OK, or double-click on it. The contents of the LOV are configurable for each SEMS installation.

In a LOV, either scroll through to find the desired value, or use the Find field to locate the value. Use wildcard characters to target the search: the "%" character represents any number of characters, the "_" character represents a single character
Enter search criteria and press Enter or click Find to display the list of matching values. Select the one of interest
For example, searching for "B%" finds only values beginning with "B":

Copying Data

For fields into which data is entered, use the toolbar icon  to replace the contents of the current field with those of the field immediately above it.

In some forms, make a copy of the current record by clicking  , then modify and save it as a new record.
