Use

(Enter)

F11

Clears the current record to begin a  search for a specific record.

(Execute)

CTRL+F11

Performs a query, retrieving  the records matching what is entered in the fields of the form A whole form. Made up of blocks..

(Save)

CTRL+S

Saves the current record.

(Exit)

Click "x" to close open form.

Exits the current form. If changes are not saved, a reminder prompt displays.

(Count Hits)

If no query is entered, performs an unfiltered query (retrieves all records).

If a query is entered, calculates how many records will be retrieved by the current query and displays that information at the bottom of the form.

(Last Criteria)

Retrieves the last query performed on this form.

(Clear Field)

F5

Clears the currently selected field of its data.

(Duplicate Field)

Shift+F5

For fields where data is entered (rather than choosing from a list), replaces the current field's values with those from the field immediately above it.

(Clear Record)

F6

Deletes the current record.

(Duplicate Record)

Shift+F6

Makes a copy of the current record.

(Insert)

CTRL+Down

Inserts a record or item in a record. Entered values will be saved automatically. To cancel, click Clear Record icon.

(Remove)

Deletes a record or item in a record.

(Print)

Prints the current form to a printer

(List Values)

Double-click (in field)

Opens the List of Values for the current field.

(Edit)

Opens an editor.

(Keymap)

Help > Keys

Displays list of keystrokes and function keys and their use.

(Export to CSV)

Exports data in selected record in CSV format for use in Excel or other applications on the desktop system. All fields of the current record are exported.

(Export to PDF)

Prints the current form in PDF format.

(First Record)

Display the first record in the current data table (reflects current query).

(Previous Record)

Up Arrow

Display the previous record in the current data table (reflects current query).

(Next Record)

Down Arrow

Display the next record in the current data table (reflects current query).

(Last Record)

Display the last record in the current data table (reflects current query).

(Previous Block A component of a form. Usually indicated with yellow title bar.)

Shift+Page Up

Jump to the previous block on the current form.

(Next Block)

Shift+Page Down

Jump to the next block on the current form.

(about)

Displays information about the current form (including the form name, which is useful to know when customizing SEMS).

(Help)

Click the icon, then click anywhere in the SEMS interface to open a window showing context-sensitive information about that item.
