STEELMAN Steel Enterprise Management System chosen to lead Pacesetter Steel Service, Inc. through next generation
JUNE 30, 2004. (Toronto, ON) — Pacesetter Steel Service, Inc. of Kennesaw, Georgia, has announced that it has selected STEELMAN Software Solutions Inc. (SSSI), manufacturers of enterprise-wide software products for the steel industry, to streamline its business flows into a complete process integration.
An exhaustive 10-year search that involved testing out various competitor systems and products led Pacesetter, a leader in coated steel product distribution, to the STEELMAN Steel Enterprise Management System (SEMS) solution, known for its robust functionality and scalability.
“Our search for the perfect system is finally over,” said Steve Leebow, representative at Pacesetter. “We view STEELMAN as the best scaleable business system for our operations that will allow us to move forward as we continue to grow and expand our business.”
“The addition of Pacesetter to the STEELMAN user team is a perfect match, given both of our priorities lay in customer service.” stated Daniel Brody, managing director at SSSI. “With that in mind, we are confident that our system will generate a sufficient return on investment from the start.”
As part of the agreement, Pacesetter will implement the SEMS solution, which has been proven to:
- improve sales force productivity, customer service efficiencies, and sales order accuracy;
- reduce manufacturing, inventory & warehouse costs;
